About Jen Tennille (a.k.a. Jen Ten)
Born in a small town east of Kansas City, Jen Tennille began studies in art at a very young age. Her career began while still in high school, designing and selling beaded jewelry and fiber creations. Jen went on to freelance artistry in the fields of illustration, web design, graphic design, publication, and textiles.
Tennille's textile works are inspired by her fascination with the human face, finding it both mesmerizing and challenging. Focusing on unique facial features, she applies limited colors to grids when creating her initial patterns for maximum impact. Jen Tennille melds emotion, design, and artisan craftsmanship into dynamic fine art.
